SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS! WEEK 2

This weeks Canadian Female Artists are:
Regional Assembly of Text, Stay Home Club, Smitten Kitten, Hinkleville, and Corey Moranis.

Stay Home Club is a “life style for people who have no life.”
Based out of Montreal in 2012, this one woman show has grown into
a successful business and studio.
Stay Home Club totes $26 each, and pins for $9 each.

Local Jewelry designer Corey Moranis plays with plastic to create lovely glitter and marble pieces.
Corey Moranis marble heart necklaces $75 each, the square marble necklaces $55 each,
and the glitter heart keychain $15 each

Local artist Smitten Kitten started in 2004 and has developed into a huge name with features in Elle, MTV and more!
You can get her cool keychains for $8 each or pick up her cards for $6 each.

Toronto based Artist Hinkleville designs all of her unique ceramics by hand. Pick up any of her whimsical pieces at the shop.
The planters go for $45 each, the mugs are $40 each, the small eye dish for $20 each, and the necklace for $40 each.

Regional Assembly of Text has a love for type that is clearly portrayed in there fun card designs.
This dynamic duo is based out of BC. Drop by and pick up a card for $6 each.

Support Local Artists! Week 1

Each day for the month of July we will be featuring female Canadian artists on our instagram,
you can follow along there or visit our blog to get the sum up of this weeks artists.

This week we have: Claire Manning, Ness Lee, Grace Eunmi Lee, Julie Moon, & Hoi Bo

Claire Manning is a local illustrator that creates incredibly cute images; often featuring fruit and veggies – perfect for the kitchen.
Her line of tea towels and totes have been with us for 5 years.

Ness Lee is an award winning illustrator who’s impressive murals and installations can be seen all over Toronto.
Drop in and sneak a peak at her cheeky ceramic’s and playful pins.

Grace Eunmi Lee is an incredible ceramics artist that has art installations that can be seen all of the world.
We carry her wondrous, one of a kind ring holders for $70 each.

Looking for unique jewelry? Julie Moon’s work celebrates ornamental details and often features gold luster or stoneware elements.

Hubbub Paper Co. is in The Kensington Shop!

Snazzy new cards are now in the Kensington shop thanks to Hubbub Paper Co.! We are the first to carry these adorable letterpressed cards & we are too excited!

The guys at Hubbub are local makers from Dundas, Ontario which is one of the many reasons why they are so awesome. (We love local Canadian makers!)
