Ontario Place print. Hand screen printed by Kid Icarus in our Toronto studio.

A print to commemorate our beautiful beloved Cinesphere on the Ontario Place grounds. This geodesic dome was constructed in 1971, is considered a heritage building, and has a large theatre inside. It’s located on Lake Ontario’s shoreline in Toronto.

This structure was inspired by Expo ’67 success with the biosphere. It was made to develop Toronto’s waterfront and the CNE grounds. Unfortunately, while designing this print we witnessed huundreds of trees taken down.
