Tisgeh’dah Children’s Palette:

The colours in the Tisgeh’dah Children’s Palette have been third party tested by the toxicologists at Duke University and Cambridge Materials testing to meet and exceed the standards for safety for childrens paint. They are not toxic or hazardous and meet LHAMA and ASTM D4236 standards for artist materials! These watercolour paints are made with local Manitoulin Island honey, wildcrafted tree sap, hand gathered, washed and sifted Manitoulin stone and the finest lighfast pigments.

Colours included: summer sun red, cherry magenta, pumpkin, fall poplar, spring green, blue sky, great ocean, blueberry mountain

Beam Paints also strives to be plastic free in their products and packaging. A focus on making and packaging using natural materials like beeswax and hand cut or reclaimed wood means embracing the irregularities that occur.

Lightfastness- Beam Paints use professional pigments that are tested for Fastness to light by our suppliers and are rated Excellent as Measured in accordance to ISO/R 105/I; DIN 54003. Panels at full shade and at 75:25 white reduction (TiO2) were exposed for 2,000 hours in an Atlas Fade-Ometer.” These pigments are then hand blended with our gatherer wild pigments the final recipes tested third party to be certified AP by the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI) non toxic suitable for use by children.
