Fisher’s Paradise, Ontario (northwest of North Bay) hosts the three-day River & Sky festival this weekend, which features a plethora of Canadian musicians (Shotgun Jimmie, Absolutely Free, Jennifer Castle, Homeshake…) and plenty of space to pitch a tent. We printed their gig poster this year, available at our Kensington location.

London, Ontario’s Shad has made it to the short list three times now, this year he has been nominated for his fourth album ‘Flying Colours’.
Paul Chin is an artist and musician (signed to Cosmonostro) who better to have designed Shad’s poster!

Toronto local Basia Bulat was nominated back in 2008 and she’s back with a nomination for her 3rd album ‘Tall Tall Shadow’.
Fellow Toronto creative Caitlyn Murphy has created Basia’s poster, 4 colour print on bright white coverstock.

Firstly we have 2011 winners Arcade Fire who have scored a hat-trick this year with their 3rd nomination for album ‘Reflektor, which reached number 1 on the Canadian, British and American charts.
Arcade Fire’s poster has been designed by St. Johns local Jud Haynes. If you like this poster, make sure you check out our other Jud Haynes designed posters we have in store!

Prints & Inks is a weekend-long show that will showcase the work of exciting Canadian talent in print, illustration and design, alongside a pop-up shop, hands-on print activities, and a late-night art party. Work by Spins & Needles Silkscreening 101 workshop alumni will be on display. Original, affordable artwork, limited edition prints, clothing and zines will be available for purchase.
