Graham Blair is a Newfoundland based printmaker working solely in wood cut printmaking. Wood cuts are some of the oldest forms of printmaking and we are thrilled to be carrying his work. Blair’s printmaking process is lengthy and precise, using a variety of different cuts to create a cohesive image. Once the design has been mapped out, Blair uses archival inks and a brayer to create a clean impression. Each print is a part of a limited edition, only to be printed once, on handmade Japanese papers.
