To Boldly Fold books are made with genuine leather and acid free artist papers. We use two different paper weights, a heavyweight Domestic Etching Paper and a lightweight Rives BFK paper. Each page is hand torn from a large 26” X 40” sheet of artist’s paper. The heavyweight paper is hearty enough for water color or drawing, while the lightweight paper is perfect for jotting ideas and notes during your travels. Our books are sewn with a waxed Irish linen thread, the strongest thread available, and the buttons that are used for closures are found on our journeys. This means that every book we make is a quality product and entirely unique.
