TorontoLife: Neighbourhoods

We’re so excited to be included in this issue of Toronto Life: Neighbourhoods! Pick one up at your local newsstand and check us out on page 93 with some of our other favourite places in Kensington Market.

Owners Bianca Bickmore and Michael Viglione upsized their tiny poster shop to a sprawling, all-things-paper store last year. The move made room for a larger stock of cute crafts, DIY kits and how-to books, as well as Kid Icarus’s own line of indie-cool greeting cards, notebooks and stationery. The best things, though, are the limited-edition poster advertising old tour dates for the likes of Ben Harper and the Arkells ($35). They’re made in the studio at the rear of the store, which is also home to a bustling wedding invitation business. The popular screen-printing workshops are run out of the store’s lower-level workshop.
