We’d like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting handmade artists last Saturday!  We were collecting raffle tickets all day and earlier this week we pulled our winners’ names from the box.  We had eight amazing prize packs to give away.

What’s your favourite part about making things by hand?

I’ve always loved making things by hand.  There’s a certain pride that you get from making something yourself, especially when said object is useful.  I’m always encouraging others to try their hand at a new skill, especially sewing since I love it so much.

What item are you most excited about selling at Handmade Holiday?

I am really excited about the launch of my new sewing patterns!  Some of the designs are brand new, while others were given a facelift.  My patterns will show you how to make your own owl pillow, pouch or wallet.  I’m always excited to teach someone that sewing is an attainable skill and that you don’t have to be perfect at it to experience success.  I think you should get in there and get your hands dirty! …you might just fall in love with it.

Our work is focused on domestic ceramic that are modern and functional. We strive to create a line of handmade quality products that are produced al in our studio.

Ceramics has always been a fascination to me, from how primitive to how complex it is. As years pass I am always interested in exploring new ideas, methods and decorations and ceramics never has a shortage of learning to be done.

The Item I’m most excited about is a series of collaborative bottles, called The Bottled Project, that the rcboisjoli studio has been working on. The project explores one thousand bottles designed by ten different illustrators. Each illustrator creates an image and we produce one hundred bottles with that image. Our first two bottles have been great and we’re launching a third and fourth before the show.

Founded in 1999, the M.S.Co. is a secret society, business company, and fully collaborative arts collective comprised of untrained dilettantes, perverts and purveyors of hokum.
